Concentus Privacy Policy

Effective October 27, 2026

In short: Concentus does not collect, store or share any personal information. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.

Information we collect

None. Concentus has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The app does not send any information about you or how you use it to the developer or to anyone else.

Microphone

The tuner, the intonation check and the voice tools use your microphone to hear the pitch of your instrument or voice. The sound is analyzed instantly, on your device, and then discarded. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere. The microphone is only active while the Tuner or a voice exercise is open, and you can turn off access at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone.

Information stored on your device

Your settings, saved chord progressions, custom tunings and instruments, string-change logs, ear-training scores and vocal range are stored only on your device. They are included in your device's own backups (for example iCloud Backup) if you have those turned on; that is handled by Apple under your Apple account's settings, not by Concentus. Deleting the app deletes this information.

Notifications

If you choose to be reminded about string changes, the reminder is scheduled on your device. No information is sent to a server to do this.

Third parties

Concentus contains no third-party code that collects data: no analytics services, advertising networks or social media tools.

Children

Concentus is suitable for all ages and collects no information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Any change that involves collecting information would be explained in the app before it happens.
